Hello, I’m Seth Gans!
It’s okay to not be okay. We all need help sometimes, and that’s why I’m here! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 129431). I completed my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University and my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Colorado. I am also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I have a background working in schools with children of all ages as well as experience working with children with special needs. In addition, I have a research background encompassing the fields of both Psychology and Biochemical Neuroscience. I love working with children, adolescents, and families dealing with all sorts of issues.
I grew up right here in San Diego! I enjoy nothing more than going to the beach and soaking up the sun with my two dogs, Dave and Callie. I also love music, film, being outdoors, playing sports, spending time with loved ones, and traveling.
How I Can Help
For my entire professional life, I have worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of contexts. There is nothing more rewarding than helping others, and I find that therapy is the most direct and authentic way to help. This is what led me to pursue this field in the first place!
I am enthusiastic and honored to be a part of the Family Connections Therapy team! This is a supportive and welcoming environment well suited to give you the help you need. The clinicians here are genuine, caring, kind, and ready to support you.
